Job Title: Senior Automation QA Engineer
Location: Pune/Mumbai
Experience: 10+ years
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Selenium, BDD (Behavior Driven Development), and Cucumber, with a proven track record of over 10 years in the field of Quality Assurance. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest level of software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. BDD Implementation: Utilize BDD tools and frameworks (Cucumber) to define test cases and scenarios. Test Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules, ensuring thorough coverage of all test phases. Framework Development: Build and enhance automation frameworks that are scalable and maintainable. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality checks. Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing and ensure that applications meet performance requirements.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java programming language.Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.Strong knowledge and experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.Familiarity with test management tools (, JIRA, TestRail).Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.


Preferred Qualifications:
