Cisco SDN ACI Engineer

About the Company:We are looking for an experienced Cisco ACI Engineer to design, implement, and support Cisco’s Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions using Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).About the Role :The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex data center networks, working with ACI fabric, and integrating with virtualization and automation platforms. Onsite – Pune.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Cisco ACI fabric-based SDN solutionsConfigure ACI components: APIC, leaf/spine switches, policies, contracts, EPGs, and tenantsTroubleshoot and optimize ACI deployments and fabric connectivityIntegrate ACI with third-party systems (e.g., VMware vCenter, firewalls, monitoring tools)Manage data center migrations and network transformations to ACI architectureDevelop and maintain ACI-related documentation and runbooksCollaborate with network security and cloud teams to ensure policy enforcementAssist in network automation (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting for ACI API)Monitor and resolve network issues, incidents, and changes via ITIL processesQualifications :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldRequired Skills :Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC, and fabric componentsGood understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLSFamiliarity with Nexus 9000 series switches (NX-OS/ACI mode)Experience in integrating ACI with VMware (vDS, vCenter)Understanding of multitenancy, VRF, BD, EPG, and contracts in ACIKnowledge of automation tools (e.g., Python, REST API, Ansible)Network monitoring tools (e.g., Cisco DCNM, SolarWinds, etc.)Preferred Skills :Cisco certifications preferred: CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center5–10 years of experience in enterprise networking and 3+ years in Cisco ACI
