Job Description:Lead the design of embedded controllers hardware which contain high end microcontrollers, power conditioning, medium speed signals, low power motor control, sensing, LCD displays, and signal conditioningPreparation of Architecture, design calculations, in discussion with the semiconductor suppliersPackaging and thermal design, interaction with the mechanical engineering and other CFTInteraction with the PCB designerBOM preparation along with CFTPreparation of assembly and test documents for productionLeading the prototyping and testing (Functional, reliability, EMI/EMC, environmental) activities along with cross functional teamPreparation of design validation plans based on the application and customer requirementsDesign and test documentationFailure analysis and countermeasure preparation as per the 8D processHandling customer reviewsFollowing the internal PDLC standardsLead the hardware engineering team and conduct reviews, set objectives for each member and assess the performance

Skillsets Required:BE/BTech/ME/MTech/PhD in any of the Electronics related branchesHands on experience in mixed signal electronics, low power motor control, power electronics, microcontrollersShould have demonstrated work experience in development of ECUs for industrial or automotive or defense domainsShould have experience in handling EMI/EMC, thermal, and safety aspects for the productsShould have interacted with the manufacturing process development teamsShould have handled product developmentShould have experience in root cause analysis and preparation of investigation reportsShould know methods of DFMEA, fault tree analysis, design calculationsShould know review process for the hardware designs
