For more information visit: Overview:This position will be responsible for analyzing the strength and durability of various subsystems, optimizing designs in collaboration with designers, and contributing to the development of Power Tools and Special Purpose Machines. You will work in a collaborative environment, taking full ownership of analysis results and supporting design optimization through advanced simulation techniquesResponsibilities:- Perform structural analysis using ANSYS and other relevant tools for various subsystems.- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize designs based on simulation results.- Conduct topology optimization and contribute to weight and cost reduction efforts.- Calculate fatigue life and overall life expectancy of tools using ANSYS Motion.- Generate detailed technical reports and documentation for all simulations and findings.- Take full ownership of the analysis outcomes and drive design improvements accordingly.- Coordinate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure analysis inputs are timely and accurate.- Support site visits when required to gather data or assist in troubleshooting.- Work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Requirements:- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis using ANSYS.- Strong understanding of Strength of Materials and mechanical behavior of different materials.- Prior experience with Power Tools or Special Purpose Machines is preferred.- Good knowledge of material selection and mechanical performance characteristics.- Proficient in using simulation tools, documentation, and report preparation.Core Competencies:- Expertise in structural simulation and analysis (ANSYS, ANSYS Motion)- Strong grasp of strength of materials- Problem-solving and design optimization skills- Excellent coordination and communication abilities- Ownership mindset and ability to take initiative- Ability to perform under deadlines and multitask effectivelyTravel & Work Arrangements/Requirements- Travel (As and When required)What we Offer- We are all owners of the company Stock options (Employee Ownership Program) that align your interests with the company's success.- Yearly performance-based bonus, rewarding your hard work and dedication.- Leave Encashments- Maternity/Paternity Leaves- Employee Health covered under Medical, Group Term Life & Accident Insurance- Employee Assistance Program- Employee development with LinkedIn Learning- Employee recognition via Awardco- Collaborative, multicultural work environment with a team of dedicated professionals, fostering innovation and teamwork.
