Position Title: Student Mobilization Officer – CSR Skill Development
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
The Student Mobilization Officer will be responsible for identifying, counseling, and enrolling eligible students/youth beneficiaries under the organization’s CSR-led skill development initiatives. The role focuses on building community relationships, creating awareness of training programs, and ensuring mobilization targets are met for successful project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach & Mobilization
- Identify potential students through community visits, schools, colleges, NGOs, and other local stakeholders.
- Build strong networks with local authorities, panchayats, youth clubs, self-help groups, and community leaders.
- Organize mobilization drives, awareness sessions, and career guidance workshops.
Student Engagement & Counseling
- Counsel students and parents on available skill development programs and career pathways.
- Guide candidates on eligibility, benefits, training schedules, and job placement opportunities.
- Maintain high conversion rates from leads to enrollments.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of mobilized students, leads, and enrollments.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly mobilization reports as per project requirements.
- Track student attendance, feedback, and dropout cases with follow-up actions.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with schools, colleges, community organizations, and government bodies to strengthen mobilization pipelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (training, placement, CSR reporting) to ensure smooth execution.
CSR Alignment
- Ensure mobilization activities align with the CSR vision, compliance requirements, and impact goals.
- Contribute to monitoring & evaluation processes by providing mobilization-related data and success stories.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred).
- Ability to engage with communities and build trust.
- Counseling and persuasion skills.
- Basic knowledge of skill development & vocational training landscape.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.
- Good documentation and reporting skills (MS Office, Excel).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, Education, or any relevant field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in student mobilization, community outreach, NGO, or skill development projects.
