It is known for pioneering the convenience food sector in India, with a product range including instant mixes, ready meals, dairy products, and desserts with a wide distribution network in India and exports to over 40 countries


Job description

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement the annual general trade sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Create regional sales plans, volume targets, and trade promotion strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market gaps, and competitive threats.


2. Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a national sales team, including Zonal and Regional Sales Managers.
  • Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, accountability, and motivation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and capability-building initiatives.


3. Distribution & Market Expansion

  • Strengthen and expand the distributor network in line with market potential.
  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution for all product categories.
  • Ensure effective secondary sales planning and monitoring


4. DMS & SFA Management

  • Leverage Distributor Management Software (DMS) for real-time sales, inventory, and claims tracking.
  • Ensure Sales Force Automation (SFA) adoption for improved field productivity and execution.
  • Use analytics from DMS & SFA to optimize supply chain, route-to-market, and sales performance.


5. Trade Marketing & Execution

  • Work closely with trade marketing to design and execute effective schemes, promotions, and visibility initiatives.
  • Monitor market execution standards and ensure compliance across regions.


6. Reporting & Business Insights

  • Track and report sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Present actionable insights to management for decision-making.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • High proficiency in DMS & SFA tools and related analytics.
  • Negotiation and relationship management with trade partners.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability.


Candidates from FMCG industry preferably from the Food FMCG industry role only 

Experience- 15 - 25 Years

Salary CTC - As per market standard 

Notice period - 30 days or Less than that
