As a Diploma Engineer - Mechanical , you will play a key role in supporting engineering, maintenance, production, and project activities by applying your technical knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and maintenance practices. This role is hands-on and operations-focused, requiring active participation in equipment handling, process monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly, fitting, and testing of machines and mechanical systems.
  • Operate basic tools and machines used in the manufacturing process.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Support production teams in achieving daily output targets.
  • Read and follow mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
  • Work with the production and design teams to improve machine performance and build quality.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, production logs, and quality checks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
