Location :Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Purpose:
The ARFF Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) operations of all airports under AAHL. He will be based in HO, Ahmedabad. The role requires a strong background in ARFF operations, standards & compliance, ARFF training, along with exceptional managerial and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial mind-set, stakeholder partnering, outcome orientation, transformation mind-set, innovation focus, team orientation, and a commitment to employee development.
Experience:
18-20 years of experience in the Airport industry with a focus on ARFF operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and guide the ARFF functions at all AAHL airports, ensuring efficient and effective emergency response procedures.
· Manage and oversee the disabled aircraft recovery procedures, ensuring readiness for any potential emergencies.
· Utilize in-depth knowledge of Crash Fire Tenders (CFTs) to enhance the operational efficiency of equipment and firefighting capabilities of crew.
· Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with DGCA CAR regulations and industry best practices.
· Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve ARFF operations and emergency response strategies.
· Drive outcome-oriented initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of ARFF operations.
· Champion a transformation mind-set to adapt to evolving industry standards and technological advancements.
· Foster an environment of innovation focus, encouraging new ideas and approaches to enhance ARFF operations.
· Promote a strong team orientation and collaboration among ARFF crew members and other airport staff.

Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Fire Science, or related field. OR a GIFireE from the Institution of Fire Engineers (UK).

· Expertise in developing and delivering ARFF training programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
· Competency in developing Standards and Procedures in line with ICAO and DGCA regulations.
· Sound knowledge in ARFF operations.
Non-Negotiable Skills
· Experience in handling ARFF crew in supervisory capacity
· Experience in handling disabled aircraft removal kit
· Knowledge about Crash Fire Tender (CFT) operations
