As a Business Analyst for Windows Active Directory (AD) Migration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the migration process of Active Directory services within the organization. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing business requirements, gathering technical specifications, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new AD environment. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure that the migration aligns with organizational goals and meets technical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Analysis :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements related to the AD migration.

- Analyze existing AD infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.

- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.

Stakeholder Management :

- Communicate with stakeholders from various departments to gather feedback and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Manage expectations and provide regular updates on the migration progress.

- Address concerns and resolve conflicts to maintain smooth collaboration between IT and business teams.

Project Planning and Coordination :

- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to develop migration plans and timelines.

- Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies associated with the migration process.

- Coordinate resources and schedules to ensure timely execution of migration tasks.

Data Analysis and Migration Strategy :

- Analyze existing user accounts, group policies, and access controls within the AD environment.

- Develop migration strategies to transfer data, settings, and configurations to the new AD environment with minimal disruption.

- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop test cases and scenarios to validate the functionality and performance of the new AD environment.

- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for iterative improvements.

- Conduct post-migration reviews to identify any issues and implement corrective actions.

- Should have technical knowledge of Windows AD , server upgrade and Domain Consolidation.
