Software and Firmware Director

We are looking for a software and firmware director to lead and build a team working on communication protocols such as PCIe/Ethernet/CXL/HBM/DDR/UCIe. The core objectives of the role are to deploy our proven software and firmware development methodologies to new IPs, Subsystems and ASICs and contribute to the overall system and functional validation. You will design software and firmware test plans and sequences, firmware architecture, SDK integration guidelines, regression automation and coverage collection.

Basic Requirements

Strong technical background in electrical engineering/computer engineering/software engineeringExperience working in pre-silicon digital design & verification environmentsExperience doing chip bring up in a post silicon environment≥10 years’ experience supporting or developing complex FW/SW solutions in IPs/Subsystems/ASICs ideally in connectivity / networking domainsAbility to act professionally and manage a changing list of multiple tasks, managing/planning requirements in multiple domains and to work with little guidance and supervisionKnowledge of industry-standard protocols, how to use revision control systems and software CICD / regression infrastructureEntrepreneurial and driven attitude always putting the customer firstExperience building and leading teams

Required Experience

High level of proficiency in C/C++High level of proficiency in automation for testing, regressions, and hardware in the loop integrationWorking knowledge of industry standard revision control systems, compilers and build systems like Github, Make, GCCHands on firmware/software experience with one of SerDes/Ethernet PHY/Infiniband/PCIe PHY, UCIe, DDR, HBM industry protocols
