QA/QC Engineer – Calibration Laboratory

Location:
Oman

Experience:
3 to 5 Years in Calibration Quality (ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Labs). We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer with strong expertise in Measurement Uncertainty and a solid background in quality management systems for ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs.

Key Responsibilities
– In-depth knowledge and practical application of Measurement Uncertainty as per ISO/IEC 17025.

• Review of customer requirements, technical specifications & ensuring quality compliance.

– Handling customer feedback, technical queries & complaint resolution.

• Conducting internal audits and ensuring readiness for external audits .
• Managing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and driving continual improvement.
• Reviewing and approving calibration methods, SOPs, uncertainty budgets & traceability.
• Supporting technician competency assessments, training & knowledge sharing Monitoring document control, calibration certificates & compliance with QMS.

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical knowledge in calibration processes (Electrical, Pressure, Temperature, Dimensional, etc.)
• Understanding of metrology standards ,ERP, Calibration software
