Coding Challenge: Technical Project Lead // Submit the results by email to


Objective: To assess the candidate's technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills by developing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework utilizing current LLMs to answer questions based on a set of blog articles.

Challenge Overview: You are required to build a RAG framework that references 10 provided blog articles from our company's page. The framework should be able to retrieve relevant information from these articles and generate coherent answers to user questions based on the retrieved information. The articles can either be downloaded or remain online for this task.

Task Details:

Data Preparation:

  • Retrieve and prepare the 10 blog articles from the provided links given at the end of this post.
  • Ensure the articles are pre-processed for efficient retrieval (e.g., tokenize the text, index the articles).

Framework Development:

  • Develop a RAG framework using current Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama.
  • The framework should be capable of:
  • Retrieving relevant sections from the blog articles based on the user’s query.
  • Generating a comprehensive answer using the retrieved information.

Implementation:

  • Implement the RAG framework to work either independently or integrated within an LLM.
  • Utilize APIs for LLM integration if necessary.

Functionality:

  • The framework should take a user query and return an accurate and relevant answer.
  • Ensure the solution is efficient and scalable.

Submission Requirements:

  • Source code for the RAG framework.
  • Documentation explaining the implementation, how to run the application, and any dependencies.
  • A brief report detailing the approach, design decisions, and any challenges faced.
  • (Optional) A short video demo of the application in action.

Technical Skills Evaluated:

  • Expertise in no-code building services/APIs/hooks.
  • Knowledge and implementation of LLMs.
  • Conversational AI and prompt engineering skills.
  • Ability to work with APIs of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.
  • Proficiency in creating and implementing use cases.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Accuracy and relevance of the generated answers.
  • Efficiency and performance of the retrieval process.
  • Code quality, readability, and documentation.
  • Creativity in the implementation approach.
  • Completeness and functionality of the solution.

Submission Instructions:

  • Submit your code repository (GitHub, GitLab, or any other platform).
  • Include the necessary documentation and report within the repository.
  • (Optional) Provide a link to the demo video.
