Job Title: Associate Director of GenAI Prompt and Data Engineering

Location: Bengaluru, India (with cross-time zone collaboration)

Division: Software Product Engineering, Tech

Role Overview: We are seeking an innovative and strategic thinker to join our software development team as the Associate Director of GenAI Prompt and Data Engineering. This role is pivotal in leading the development and enhancement of our GenAI platform, which is instrumental in creating AI-supported products across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompt Engineering Excellence:

Conduct thorough reviews of prompts, models, model chaining, and prompt expansion across various applications.

Implement strategies to enhance the quality of results and user experience.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and prompt engineering to foster continuous improvement.

  • Model Development and Fine-Tuning:

Direct and oversee the fine-tuning (e.g., PEFT) and custom training of AI models, with support from software development team.

Ensure the models meet the needs of both internal teams and external consumers of the platform.

  • Platform Innovation and Requirements:

Provide critical input into the platform’s requirements, focusing on enhancing ML Ops capabilities.

Develop and improve measurement and monitoring systems, including drift detection and automated testing for new model updates.

Qualifications:

  • A technical undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for a graduate degree in data science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data science and familiarity with AI and GenAI technologies.
  • Life sciences experience is an advantage.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively across different time zones, with a development team distributed between the US and India.
