Job Title : Sterling MFT Architect

Years of Experience: 11year to 15years

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Chennai.

Job Description:

Sterling MFT Architect role involves in leading project within designated architecture and collaborate with Product vendor, designing and implementing the secure file transfer solutions using IBM Sterling MFT product. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background knowledge in MFT technologies, including experience in DR (Disaster Recovery) design, transfer protocols like FTPs, SFTP, AS2, Connect: Direct, etc. and encryption software’s like PGP, GnuPG and Native PGP. Should also have in-depth knowledge on MFT application architecture, Installation, digital certificates, Fire wall, Business Process, and security concepts to ensure secure and efficient data exchange across the enterprise. Should have experience with Linux system administration and in-depth experience in shell scripting and ability to develop custom shell scripts for automation and improvements. Should have excellent analytical, problem-solving and production support skills. Minimum experience for this role is 12 years.

Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, maintain, and administrate IBM products – IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, IBM Sterling Configuration Manager, IBM Control Center.

• Architect, design and implement IBM Sterling implementation and solutions.

• Perform upgrades, patching, performance tuning for the above-mentioned IBM products.

• Knowledge on Rest API’s, scheduling tools – TWS and batch processing.

• Onboarding internal & external partners file transfers into Sterling File Gateway.

• Setup and configure file transfer components including routing channel templates, SSH profiles, PGP keys, routing channels, partner setup, protocols, notifications.

• Collaborate with business and application teams to understand file transfer requirements and implement appropriate solutions.

• Proficient in development and implementation of business processes, protocols, and custom components to facilitate different types of file transfer operations.

• Monitor file transfer systems for performance, errors, failures, and reprocessing.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection regulations, and organization policies and guidelines.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of file transfer processes, configurations, and changes.

• Coordinate with vendors to discuss any new requirements/challenges.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file transfer systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Tools Knowledge:

• Unix, IBM products – IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, IBM Sterling Configuration Manager, IBM Control Center.

Technical Knowledge:

• Must have experience in Install, configure, maintain, and administrate IBM products.

• Proficient in development and implementation of business processes and custom components to facilitate different types of file transfer operations.

• Should have experience in file transfer systems for performance tuning, remediation of vulnerabilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with any other MFT tools and technologies – Axway Secure Transport, Cleo Integration Cloud MFT, Globalscape EFT.

• Experience with Cloud Computing – MS Azure, AWS, GCP

• Associate should be able to support at least once a week On-Call on weekends.

• Associate should be able to support and work during US Business Hours

• Associate must follow US Business Holiday schedule.
