Job Overview:We are seeking a

TOSCA Automation Senior Engineer who has automation experience in ETL, DWH & BI

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have certifications in TOSCA and will have hands-on experience in automation of API’s, ETL jobs, DWH application & BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements, automate system integration testing (SIT), support user acceptance testing (UAT), and support the overall software implementation lifecycle.

Job Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbility to understand requirements and technical reference documents and be able to understand business requirementsPrepare test Plan and automation test strategy documents for data warehousing applicationsAbility to understand existing automation framework and to create or enhance the frameworkDeveloped automation scripts, testing of scripts and execute as necessaryIdentifying/creating test data to cover identified test scenariosManaged lower environments for testing availability and test data preparationPerform extensive data validation against data warehouse using automationAbility to write PL/SQL queries and validate PL/SQL stored proceduresResponsible for browser compatibility testing on different platforms and data validations for all reports using automationAutomate the testing of data validation jobs developed in the Data Stage environment.Validate ETL processes to load data through the Staging layer into DWH using automationAbility to use UNIX command to start, stop and ping the server and create UNIX Shell scripts to automate the process.Ability to create UNIX Shell Scripts and PERL scripts for data loading, data parsing, file manipulation and text processing needs.Resolving automation script issues during execution runs and maintenance of scriptsResponsible for reporting defects found during testing and retest of defectsAbility to understand, troubleshoot and differentiate defects, data issues and requirement gapsResponsible for on-time delivery and timely escalations/update of risks, issues, status and exemptions to leadershipEffective communication with the team, leadership, internal and external customers covering all aspects of team needsCollaborate with business users and technical teams to validate defect fixes and re-test impacted areasAssist business users during UAT and other testing phases by providing support and providing feedback for improvement.Awareness of different software development and QA methodologiesStay up to date with the latest automation tools, technologies and trends

Required Skills & CompetenciesExperience in

Agile/Scrum
