Production Engineer

About the Role: The Production Engineer will be responsible for driving efficiency within the production process through time studies, elimination of non-value-added (NVA) activities, and the integration of tools and machinery to optimize lead times. The role requires close collaboration with the Industrial Engineering (IE) team to ensure smooth operations and consistent productivity improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed time studies to analyze current production processes.
- Identify and reduce non-value-added (NVA) activities by introducing suitable tools and techniques.
- Implement solutions to reduce lead time by adding and optimizing machinery.
- Work collaboratively with the Industrial Engineering team to improve process efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure best practices in production engineering.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working with an Industrial Engineering (IE) team or as a Mechanical Engineer .
- BE in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
