Role: Junior Python Engineer Description: We are seeking a Junior Python Engineer with a strong foundation in Python programming and API development to join our dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is exploratory by nature, eager to learn and motivated to work on next-generation AI technologies, including Generative AI applications. Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services, APIs, and microservices.• Assist in integrating third-party APIs and cloud-based AI services into existing systems.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support proof-of-concept and production-ready projects.• Conduct debugging, testing, and performance optimization for APIs and backend services.• Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly in Generative AI ecosystems. Must Have • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.• Proficiency in Python concepts, including object-oriented programming, error handling, and testing.• Strong experience in API development (RESTful APIs, FastAPI).• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies particularly in the Generative AI domain. Good to have • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).• Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).• Interest or hands-on exposure to LLMs, LangChain or other Generative AI frameworks.• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and event-driven architectures.
