About the role As a Senior Security Consultant , you will need to have comprehensive understanding of threat and vulnerability management, cloud security capabilities, and the ability to navigate various cybersecurity domains beyond product specialisation. We will count on you to have extensive experience in designing and implementing secure-by-design solutions, with a strong emphasis on enterprise protection technologies. Along the way, you will get to: Secure Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of secure-by-design solutions for businesses and enterprise environments, ensuring robust security practices are integrated from the outset. Data Protection Expertise: Utilise data protection solutions like Microsoft Purview to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information while complying with relevant regulations. Cloud Security Capabilities: Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect cloud-based assets and applications, ensuring secure deployment and management in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Threat and Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and manage threats and vulnerabilities to strengthen the organisation’s security posture. Framework Implementation: Apply industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and NIS2 to guide security practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Identity and Authorisation Solutions: Design and implement effective identity and authorisation solutions to manage user access and enhance security measures. Incident Management: Conduct incident management processes, implementing recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans to minimise the impact of security incidents. SDLC Integration: Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of all software development processes. Security Trends Awareness: Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams and executive leadership, to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and address organisational challenges. What we’re looking for Extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a focus on designing and implementing secure solutions. Proficient in data protection solutions, particularly Microsoft Purview. Strong background in cloud security, with experience in securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Working with SIEM solutions e.g. Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, LogRythm. In-depth knowledge of industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and NIS2. Experience in designing and implementing identity and authorisation solutions. Proven track record in incident management and disaster recovery processes. Familiarity with integrating security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Strong understanding of business problems and the role of cybersecurity in driving organizational growth. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
