Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Position Summary:This role consists of ensuring the accounting data quality and managing specific accounting calculations, closing review, regulatory reporting and accounting systems administration for the entities / business units under responsibility. On an ad hoc basis, the Middle Office Accounting Expert shall be assigned to participate as an Expert key user in Accounting transformation projects, including but not limited to IT system rollout, process harmonization and new business tender & onboarding.Key Result Areas:Accounting Calculations:Perform the calculations related to Bad Debts.Perform the calculations related Provisions and accruals.Perform the calculations related Fixed Assets.Closing Review:Ensure data quality, accuracy and timeliness of the postings done into the accounting systems.Perform Sanity Check on Suspense Account, premiums/service revenue/claims/commissions, payroll, investments, FX and TaxEnsure Closing Quality Assurance and the compliance with standard booking schemes and the global accounting policyPerform ECCS uploadPerform post-mortem review of the closing review process to identify, monitor and resolve issues and design and implement improvements to the process.Regulatory Reporting:Statutory Reporting.Regulatory Reporting.Specific Reporting.Accounting systems administration:Access Right ManagementGRP: Set-up & Configuration, Tables Management, Interfaces ManagementIncident ManagementKey Skills:Efficiency:Strong analytical skills.Ability to synthesize.Ability to consolidate large volume of data into structured and simple outputs.Ability to arbitrate and prioritize.Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Solutions and results oriented.Openness and flexibility to address challenges from various perspectives in order to find the best possible way to manage the challenge.Accountability:Capacity to learn.Ability to undertake initiative.Customer service.Ability to innovate and seek for advances in technology and practices.Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication.Networking skills: Ability to liaise with members of other functions.Ability to work and communicate with different cultures, levels and organizations world-wide.Ability to work in remote teams.Finance:Finance AcumenAccounting & Tax knowledgeSAP knowledgeSolvency II RegulationAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
