To be a successful Senior SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Engineer) Consultant embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Additionally, you will exhibit strategic vision, thoughtful engagement, strong analytical/process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze integration requirements.
  • Design and develop SAP CPI integration solutions using standard CPI components.
  • Implement integration scenarios between SAP systems, third-party applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Configure and customize SAP CPI to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and maintain integration mappings, transformations, and interfaces.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of integration solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and end-users.
  • Document technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP CPI features and best practices.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working with SAP CPI.
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in SAP CPI design, development, and configuration.
  • Experience with SAP CPI adapters, mappings, and transformations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform services and architecture.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns such as synchronous/asynchronous, point-to-point, and publish-subscribe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 

What qualifications you need:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

    What will give you an edge:

  • Experience with other integration platforms such as SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration).
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of security protocols and standards.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
