Job Summary:

Rama University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Seed Technologist to join our Agriculture Department. The candidate will be responsible for conducting practical sessions for students, sharing industrial insights, and ensuring quality teaching and training. The role requires a professional with strong industrial experience and a passion for mentoring future agricultural professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct practical sessions and demonstrations in seed technology, processing, testing, and storage for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Integrate industrial exposure and real-world applications into classroom and lab sessions.
• Guide students on seed quality analysis, germination tests, seed certification, and seed processing techniques.
• Collaborate with faculty in designing and updating curriculum and practical modules in alignment with industry standards.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students pursuing seed technology and agribusiness careers.
• Conduct field visits and industry interactions to strengthen academia-industry linkage.
• Support research and extension activities within the department related to seed technology.
• Maintain lab equipment, ensure adherence to safety standards, and facilitate smooth practical training.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Seed Technology / Seed Science & Technology / Agriculture (Seed Science) or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial experience in seed technology, seed production, processing, or quality assurance.
• Teaching/training experience in academic institutions will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of seed laws, certification procedures, and modern seed technology advancements
