Principal Consultant – QA (Quality assurance) Cypress and JavaScript SDETWe are seeking a skilled Principal Consultant with expertise in Cypress and JavaScript SDET to join our team. As a consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities.§Lead a team of SDET engineers to develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.§Design and implement robust test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript to validate software functionality and performance.§Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.§Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality test code and maintainable automation suites.§Analyze test results and identify opportunities to optimize test coverage and improve test efficiency.§Drive continuous integration and delivery practices to enable rapid and reliable software releases.§Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you§Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).§Proven experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation.§Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Cypress or similar testing frameworks.§Experience leading and mentoring teams of SDET engineers.§Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.§Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.§Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.§Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Preferred qualifications§Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.§Certifications in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA).§Experience with other testing tools and technologies such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.§Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).§Experience with performance testing and/or security testing methodologies and tools.§Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles.
