Position Overview :


The Data Acquisition Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data acquisition strategy to support our AI development efforts. This role will involve sourcing multimedia data from a variety of channels, including but not limited to, crowd-sourcing via our own platform, OneForma.


The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data acquisition techniques, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving innovation in AI through high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategy Development : Design and implement a robust data acquisition strategy aligned with our AI development goals.

- Multimedia Data Sourcing : Identify and leverage various channels to source multimedia data, including images, videos, audio, and text.

- Crowd-Sourcing Management : Oversee the crowd-sourcing data acquisition projects executing on our platform OneForma, ensuring a steady and diverse flow of data from global contributors.

- Partnerships and Collaborations : Establish and maintain partnerships with data providers, research institutions, and other relevant organizations to expand our data acquisition capabilities.

- Data Quality Assurance : Develop and enforce quality standards for data collection, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of acquired data.

- Project Management : Lead and manage data acquisition projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and objectives.

- Data Privacy and Compliance : Ensure all data acquisition activities comply with relevant data privacy laws and regulations.

- Reporting and Analysis : Monitor and report on data acquisition metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree

- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in data acquisition, data management, or a related field, with a focus on AI or machine learning projects.

- Technical Skills : Proficiency in data acquisition tools and platforms, with a strong understanding of multimedia data types and sources.

- Project Management : Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data acquisition performance and make data-driven decisions.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.

- Collaboration : Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with experience in coordinating efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.

- Innovation : A passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data acquisition and AI.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : Relevant certifications in data management, project management, or AI.

- Industry Knowledge : Experience in the AI industry, with a deep understanding of the data requirements for various AI applications.

- Platform Experience : Familiarity with OneForma or similar crowd-sourcing platforms.
