Job brief:


We are looking for an Events Manager to drive the end-to-end design, programming, and execution of internal and external events. You will be responsible for ensuring that every event reflects Raphe’s core values of innovation and inclusivity, creating unforgettable experiences for both internal teams and external stakeholders. You will work closely with leadership to amplify the company’s vision through thoughtfully executed events that inspire, educate, and engage our audiences.

Required Skills & Competencies:


  • Proven experience creating best-in-class live and virtual experiences ranging from small groups to audiences of 500+.
  • Skilled in translating core philosophy and purpose into unprecedented, innovative experiences that align with the company’s mission.
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing diversity and inclusivity as key elements in event strategies.
  • Excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors, inspiring them to align with Raphe’s high standards.
  • Strong experience in contract management and procurement related to events.
  • Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization.


Desired Skills:


  • Knowledge of how to collaborate with marketing teams to drive event promotion, including digital marketing strategies and post-event follow-up.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and curiosity about how to push the boundaries of event experiences.


As Events Manager, you will:


  • Own and execute 10-15 memorable, engaging events per year for internal and external audiences that reflect Raphe’s brand and culture.
  • Drive and project manage events from beginning to end, owning everything from strategic engagement and concepting themes, to planning logistics, coordinating guests, and pre/post-event communication plans.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve event-related issues in real time, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Work effectively, transparently, in a partner-like fashion with the leadership team; ensure buy-in to key decisions, agreement on strategic direction, alignment of cross-functional resources and activities.
  • Work with marketing and event partners including agencies, talent, venues, suppliers, security, registration, hotels, transportation, health and safety, creative services, facilities, shipping, and other event logistics partners.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Drive project management across all events and conduct post-event evaluation to identify and implement processes and strategy that enhance efficiency and scale our event operations.
  • Take extreme ownership for outcomes and remain engaged with prior efforts to ensure strategies drive desired outcomes; identify pivots as needed.


Degree and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
