About This Role

tsworks Technologies India Private Limited is seeking driven and motivated Senior Data Architect to join its Digital Services Team. You will get hands-on experience with projects employing industry-leading technologies. This would initially be focused on the operational readiness and maintenance of existing applications and would transition into a build and maintenance role in the long run.

- Position: Data Architect/Senior Data Architect- Experience: 8+ Years- Location: Bengaluru, India

Mandatory Required Qualification

- 8+ Years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with 5+ years of experience designing and executing data solutions.- Excellent at client facing role and communication skills.- Hands-on experience building data solutions using Python, SQL and Spark- Experience building data solutions using with Snowflake or Databricks in Azure Cloud.

In This Role, You Will

- Develop and maintain a robust data architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Define data models, schemas, and storage solutions for structured and unstructured data.- Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support data storage, processing, and analytics needs.- Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources into the cloud data environment.- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Establish access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms.- Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Ensure data quality, consistency, and lineage.- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, errors, and inefficiencies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide data solutions that meet their needs.- Monitor and manage cloud resource costs effectively, optimizing the usage of cloud services to reduce overall TCO for internal as well as client data platform.- Integrate disparate data models across the company into one enterprise-wide Unified Data Platform design.- Drive culture of standardization in data transformation and analytic logic.- Some travel required (approx. 20%).- Interaction with software engineering and DBA teams in order to understand their database requirements for new products or features.- Participates in prototyping and proof of concept system development and benchmarking.- Plan and implement backup and recovery strategies.- Plan and provide operational oversight in database maintenance with minimal impact to customers.- Participates in code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed.- Identify and resolve production issues and participate in debugging and root cause analysis.

Skills & Knowledge

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration techniques.- Familiarity with data modeling tools and concepts, implementation, and management of OLTP and OLAP systems.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.- Certification in relevant cloud platforms or data management technologies is a plus.- Experience in Azure Data Factory or other cloud based ETL tools solutioning and development is a plus.- Hands-on experience working in an agile setting.- Self-driven, naturally curious, and able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.- Be able to articulate, create, and maintain technical and non-technical documentation.
