Job Title : Marine Draftsman Seniority Level: Middle/Senior Years of Relevant Experience : 3yrs Department: Naval Architect Reporting Organization: Our Company Employment Type : Full-time Location: Kochi Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Marine Draftsman with a strong background in the ship design and building industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Auto CAD and have extensive experience reading 2 D construction drawings and converting them into 3 D CAD models. A solid understanding of engineering outfitting systems is required. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret 2 D construction & layout drawings. Converting 2 D drawings into 3 D drawings & models. Should have the knowledge of marine terms Need experience/knowledge in 3 D modelling of vessels & its equipment’s Collaborate with engineers and designers to create detailed ship layouts. Ensure all drawings and 3 D models meet industry specifications and standards. Required Skills and Qualification Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship structure & outfitting design Expert-level proficiency in Auto CAD with 2 D & 3 D. Proven experience in engineering outfitting systems. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal. Diploma/ Degree in any engineering discipline Preferred Skills and Qualification Experience with Rhino 3 D software is highly desirable. Candidates with proficiency in Rhino 3 D will have a distinct advantage as we look to integrate this tool into our design process.
