Job Description :


Capco is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role with flexibility for remote work.


In this role, you will be responsible for :


- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.


- Implementing microservices architecture and ensuring seamless integration.


- Architecting, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.


- Developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker.


- Managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal deployment, scaling, and management of applications.


- Implementing service mesh using Istio for secure and reliable microservices communication.


- Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.


- Integrating and managing Kafka for building scalable and robust messaging and streaming platforms.


- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.


- Implementing monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.


- Managing Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployments.


- Implementing security best practices across all aspects of the backend systems and infrastructure.


- Collaborating on front-end development projects.


We are looking for a candidate with :


- 10+ years of professional experience


- 7+ years of experience in backend development, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP)


- Experience in front-end development and general programming knowledge


- Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot


- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services


- Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes


- Proficiency in Terraform for automating infrastructure setup and management


- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD


- Proficiency with Kafka for building scalable messaging and streaming systems


- Experience with Maven for build automation and dependency management


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


- Ability to work independently and within a team


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- In-depth knowledge of advanced AWS services and solutions


- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of backend systems


- Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and practices
