Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Thermal Process Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for all thermal and boiler pricing calculations, including heat and mass transfer analysis for power plants, retrofit calculations for economizers, superheaters, water walls, and fuel feeding systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Perform detailed heat and mass transfer calculations for various components of thermal power plants, including boilers, economizers, superheaters, water walls, and fuel feeding systems.
2. Conduct thorough analysis to optimize thermal efficiency and performance of existing power plant equipment.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective retrofit solutions for boiler systems.
4. Utilize engineering software and tools to model and simulate thermal processes and system performance.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance on thermal process engineering principles and best practices.
6. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
7. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in thermal power plant technology.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience in thermal process engineering, heat and mass transfer calculations, and boiler system analysis.
3. Strong proficiency in engineering software tools and simulation programs.
4. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present technical information.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
