Job Description

The Sr. Salesforce QA Automation Engineer is passionate about the evolution from manual testing to automated testing for a Service Cloud implementation supporting Experian’s MCE contact center division. You will be instrumental in helping to define the QA strategy and drive test automation. You have proven experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.

Responsibilities include:

Independently design, develop, and deliver an automation framework for products with a quality mindset. Design and develop test automation scripts using Accelq, create test suites, configure & orchestrate test environments/infrastructure and perform test execution. Define the overall test strategy and metrics, develop test plans and coordinate execution to deliver a high-quality service to the organization. Prepares test scenarios, test cases, QA stories and acceptance criteria, aligning them with the development stories for the product increment being delivered in the sprint. Coach and mentor others on test automation tools and coding practices Work closely with testing team members, execute test plans, document defects and coordinate with development for resolution. Work with the IVR team to test the Salesforce + IVR integration. Work with Product Teams to integrate automation tests into development cycle. A change agent for continuous improvement that deliver robust performance testing strategies and methods. Effective at communicating ideas. Maintain the relationships necessary to ensure automation solution is adopted across team members and serves the needs of our business. Drive a continuous improvement mentality to Promote excellent development practices for coded test frameworks, to include participating in code reviews and source control management. Coordinate End-to-End testing across different product and domain teams. Design test automation for Salesforce UI, web services, APIs Partner with development and other team members, provide technical mentorship. Document and Track test artifacts in appropriate applications – Jira, source-code control (test automation scripts) Maintain tools used in test development including source control, test management and release systems. Check-in code using the git repository and create CI/CD projects using Jenkins or Amazon Code pipeline. Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices. Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption. Perform manual testing as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in the software testing or development field 5+ years of software testing experience 2+ years developing/building automation test frameworks and tools using AccelQ 3+ years Salesforce experience on Salesforce Service Cloud Experience testing APIs Experience in Salesforce IVR testing preferably with NICE Strong proficiency in Accelq, Javascript, Github. Apex, Lightning Components Proficient in database querying, data creation, and data validation SQL Server and Salesforce SOQL Queries Develops technical documentation on applications and system. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes.
