JOB TITLE

IT Business Analyst.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Business Analyst who ensures business requirement gathering and analysis is done on products which he supports, build, align with strategy and long-term business goals of Sun Mobility. A Business Analyst is ultimately responsible for managing requirements strategy and product features throughout its lifecycle – conception through end-of-life.

You need to have experience with business analysis and requirement gathering related activities, stakeholders’ identification, and management to build product features backlog and operating plan which helps achieve detailed product features/ requirements that can be implemented with software development teams in a planned fashion.

A desirable candidate should have approximately 4 years+ experience in Business Analyst activities.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science preferably, other engineering graduates are ok too provided they have relevant experience in IT field
  • Master of Business Administration
  • 4 years of field experience in business analysis/product requirements development, testing, and product designing.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite and related software.

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate, persuade, and coordinate with broad set of stakeholders (viz. sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, vendors, quality, other cross functions etc.) to gain in-depth understanding of critical business requirements and ensure product features are baselined with all buy-ins, ensuring products’ success.
  • Help prioritize product features transparently and ability to analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions
  • Sound knowledge and expertise in evaluating the implications of changes
  • Developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes, which is a business analyst's primary role
  • Verify developed features functionalities and sign-off user acceptance before releasing products to external stakeholders for their reviews and signoffs
  • Analyzing Product/features risks.
  • Competence in writing reports and making presentations to highlight the effect of changes made
  • Being proficient in inventing processes or systems needed to implement changes
  • Work closely with software developers, conduct workshops with quality insurance teams, vendors to explain product features in detail
  • Walkthrough customers and stakeholders on product demo sessions with help of development team and should be able to manage changes effectively
  • Possess significant, practical knowledge about programming, system design
  • Resolve product related field issues escalated by stakeholders with software development teams and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Business Analyst’s experience
  • Ability to develop products/business requirements from concept to market
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and able to handle ambiguity and pressure
  • Preferable experience in one of the following domains: Energy, Enterprise Mobility, EVs
  • Good to have start-up experience
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven stakeholders’ management skills
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple products
  • Problem-solving aptitude

Candidates have experience in Automotive domain are preferred.
