Overview: The EDIDeveloper plays a crucial role in the organization responsible fordeveloping implementing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange(EDI) solutions. They ensure the seamless exchange of electronicdocuments between trading partners enabling efficient and accuratedata transmission. The EDI Developer collaborates withcrossfunctional teams to integrate EDI processes with existingsystems and provides technical expertise to enhance data exchangecapabilities.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Design develop andimplement EDI processes and workflows
  • Createand maintain EDI maps and documents for datatranslation
  • Collaborate with business partnersto onboard new EDI transactions and tradingpartners
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting ofEDI solutions to ensure data accuracy andintegrity
  • Monitor and optimize EDI processesfor maximum efficiency and reliability
  • Developand maintain EDI standards anddocumentation
  • Provide technical support andassistance to internal and externalstakeholders
  • Participate in crossfunctionalteams to integrate EDI with ERP and othersystems
  • Stay updated with industry trends andbest practices in EDI and dataintegration
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of EDI processes andperformance
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensureseamless data flow across systems
  • Assist in EDIcompliance and regulatory requirements
  • Conducttraining and knowledge sharing sessions for internalteams
  • Manage and maintain trading partnerrelationships andconfigurations
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in EDI development andimplementation
  • Strong proficiency in EDIstandards and protocols including ANSI X12 EDIFACTetc.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying andmanipulation
  • Experience with EDI mapping andtranslation tools
  • Knowledge of integrationtechnologies and middleware
  • Ability totroubleshoot and resolve EDIrelatedissues
  • Understanding of business processes anddata flow in a supply chainenvironment
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Detailoriented andanalytical with problemsolvingabilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projectsand priorities simultaneously
  • Certifications inrelevant technologies such as Certified EDI Professional (CEDIPTM)are a plus
  • Knowledge of healthcare or retailEDI transactions is desirable
  • Strongorganizational and project managementskills
  • Must have working Experienceon any of these Ariba Coupa Hybrent IOS WorkdayJagger.
  • Must haveworking Experience on Punchout Implementation on 3rd partyplatforms.
  • Must havegood working Experience oncXML.
  • Must haveworking Experience in any EDI Mappingtool.
