We are seeking an experienced WordPress & PHP Developer with strong front-end development skills to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation, along with expertise in PHP, REST APIs, and front-end responsive web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities :
Custom Theme Development :
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on project requirements.
- Ensure themes are responsive and provide excellent user experiences across devices.
Custom Plugin Development :
- Build and maintain custom plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress websites, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and scalable.
WordPress Configuration as CMS :
- Configure WordPress as a content management system (CMS) tailored to specific client needs.
- Manage CMS functionalities, customization, and workflows for optimal performance.
Backend Development in PHP :
- Implement REST APIs in PHP over WordPress to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems, proficient in working n MySQL Database Management and related queries.
Front-End Web Development :
- Create responsive and visually appealing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring websites are optimized for speed and scalability.
Code Optimization & Best Practices :
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Continuously optimize websites for speed and performance, adhering to best coding practices.
Testing & Debugging :
- Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure websites are stable and deliver excellent user experiences.
Continuous Improvement :
- Stay up to date with the latest WordPress, PHP, and front-end development trends, and implement best practices to improve development workflows.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with UX designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST API development.
- Experience with WordPress as a CMS, including configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of responsive front-end development and web performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
