Energi Bharat is a growing EV charging infrastructure company focused on building India's sustainable mobility ecosystem. We develop and operate DC fast charging networks while expanding into comprehensive EV infrastructure solutions for residential and commercial properties.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Operations Manager to spearhead our charging network expansion across Madhya Pradesh. This is a foundational role for someone who wants to build and scale operations while driving business development in India's rapidly growing EV infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development (70%)

  • Partnership Development:
    Identify and secure strategic locations for new charging stations including malls, office complexes, highways, and commercial establishments
  • Deal Structuring:
    Negotiate multiple business models including owned operations, revenue sharing, and equipment sales with AMC contracts
  • Market Research:
    Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and identify new market opportunities
  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with property developers, facility managers, and government stakeholders
  • Sales Pipeline:
    Develop and manage sales funnel from lead generation to project closure
  • Market Intelligence:
    Provide insights on customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    Interface between customers, technical teams, and senior management

Operations Management (30%)

  • Network Monitoring:
    Ensure optimal performance of existing charging infrastructure through regular site visits and remote monitoring
  • Maintenance Coordination:
    Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules with technical partners
  • Performance Analytics:
    Track utilization rates, revenue metrics, and operational KPIs using our backend dashboard
  • Site Operations:
    Coordinate with location partners, handle customer issues, and ensure seamless charging experiences
  • Quality Assurance:
    Implement and maintain service quality standards across all charging locations
  • Reporting:
    Regular updates on operations and sales performance to leadership team

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience:
    3-5 years in operations management, business development, or sales roles
  • Industry Background:
    Prior experience in infrastructure, energy, automotive, or technology sectors preferred

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (training will be provided)
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities

Soft Skills

  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication in Hindi and English
  • Negotiation:
    Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Problem-solving:
    Analytical thinking and quick issue resolution
  • Independence:
    Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Adaptability:
    Comfort with fast-paced, evolving business environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with renewable energy or EV ecosystem
  • Knowledge of Madhya Pradesh business landscape
  • Previous startup or small business experience
  • Basic technical aptitude for understanding charging infrastructure
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively
