Job Title : Engineering Manager


Experience: 8 + Years


Reports to: Head of Technology


Education : BE/BTECH or MCA


Technical Stack: JavaScript, Node.JS, React.JS/Angular.JS, Postgres DB, Flutter & Strapi CMS


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team capable of delivering high-quality software products or solutions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects, working closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Allocate resources, set priorities, and manage dependencies to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Contribute to the development of the technical strategy and roadmap for the organization, aligning it with the company's business goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and align engineering efforts with overall product strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, helping to resolve complex technical challenges, architect scalable solutions, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
  • Responsible for evaluating the performance of team members, providing feedback, and fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact project delivery or technical operations and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and partners, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables, and communicate project status, milestones, and challenges in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team, encouraging experimentation, feedback loops, and process optimization to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Responsible for managing the engineering resources effectively, including staffing, infrastructure, and tooling.
