Our client is a pioneering Identity SecOps provider that arms identity and cybersecurity teams with end-to-end, real-time identity security posture management and threat detection. They are designed to secure identity and access in any cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure), as well as on-premises or data centers. In 2022, Gartner recognized our client as a Cool Vendor in Identity-First Security.

The product is heavily driven by data analytics as well as AI/ML (in the near future). The core idea is to analyze events & logs from enterprise systems & networks to enable the use cases we are trying to solve in the area of identity & access security.


Product

Our client discovers and monitors each Identity that enterprise employees use to connect to any Asset, anywhere, anytime. Their Identity SecOps Platform enables SecOps to address the most dangerous enablers of identity-based attacks: blind spots, identity infrastructure security gaps, and misconfigurations caused by human error. It allows security teams to become enablers for engineering and business teams to move faster as they adopt new cloud and SaaS tooling.

Position Overview

As a Sr. Software Engineer (UI), you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces to make the product easy to deploy, use and manage. In this role, you will drive the UI development process from concept to delivery, ensuring that our interfaces are optimized for performance and usability across a variety of platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI, QA, Backend, and Solutions to ensure a seamless customer experience is integral to this role.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and create seamless user experiences that meet the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold high standards of quality. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in UI, ensuring fast and responsive user interactions.
  • Implement security best practices in UI development, ensuring that our applications are resilient against the latest cybersecurity threats.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability and quality of UI components.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve UI framework and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Stay abreast with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the identity security landscape. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance our product offerings.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Experience in the cybersecurity domain, with a focus on identity security, authentication, and access management will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Sockets.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, SOC, and SOAR solutions, XDR/EDR, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and identity and access management (IAM) platforms is a significant advantage.
  • High-level understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices, with experience in security testing methodologies and tools, is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
