Job Summary :

As a Scrum Master at Angara, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption and execution of Scrum practices within our development teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing and leading agile projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities :

1) Scrum Facilitation :

- Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple Scrum teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework and ensuring adherence to agile principles.

- Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

- Encourage collaboration and communication between team members, product owners, and stakeholders.

2) Team Empowerment :

- Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices to enhance their understanding and effectiveness.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams and promote adaptive thinking.

3) Collaboration :

- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

4) Obstacle Removal :

- Identify and address impediments to team progress, escalating issues when necessary.

- Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's ability to meet sprint goals.

5) Metrics and Reporting :

- Track and report key agile metrics to stakeholders, providing transparency into team progress and performance.

- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and work with teams to implement necessary changes.

6) Continuous Learning :

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

- 4 - 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment.

- Strong understanding of agile principles and Scrum framework.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira).

- Familiarity with other agile frameworks (e.g Kanban) is a plus.
