Senior Data Asset Engineer

Supports and manages Enterprise Data Assets that support the broader organization in achieving its goals. Supports the organization with knowledge of the automotive industry, customer behavior and usage of data within our products and services. Engages third parties and strategic partners to ensure OEC is best positioned with data to serve our customers. Performs data analysis and mining as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job) – All Levels
1.Maintains market awareness to understand how our customers use OEC enterprise data to present the customer perspective to others within the organization.
2.Collects, analyzes, and communicates customer escalation trends to stakeholders relating to data assets, ensuring OEC maintains focus on data integrity and its contribution to customer loyalty.
3.Provides ad-hoc data analysis and/or mining to support for making improvements to products or services.
4.Serves as a point of contact for third parties and customer escalations; researches data anomalies and makes recommendations to external teams toward resolution of customer issues.
5.Utilizes various methods of knowledge transfer including live presentations; maintains documentation, which helps to increase data awareness for involved parties within the company.
6.Participates as a team member on research projects as requested from Manager or Associate Manager. Performs tasks in project schedules and resolves assigned issues.
7.Understands and uses appropriate communication channels to interact with all levels of the organization.
8.Answers off-shift inquires in a timely manner; is capable of handling most problems with minimal assistance.
