Job Title: Electrical BIM ModelerLocation: BangaloreCompany: Seed Engineering ConsultantsJob DescriptionSeed Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our design and engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CAD to BIM conversion, 3 D modeling, and MEP coordination, with hands-on experience in Revit and other BIM tools. The role involves producing high-quality BIM models and drawings in alignment with project standards and client requirements.Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage 3 D MEP models (Mechanical & Electrical) from CAD drawings using Revit.- Create and modify parametric families up to LOD 500 as per project specifications.- Perform CAD to BIM conversion efficiently while maintaining accuracy and design intent.- Coordinate and integrate models across disciplines (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Protection).- Prepare installation, coordination, and shop drawings from BIM models.- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and design consistency.- Use Navisworks for model review, clash detection, and coordination.- Maintain quality and standards in all BIM deliverables as per company and client guidelines.- Stay updated with industry standards, BIM trends, and technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling (Mechanical and/or Electrical).- Proficient in Revit MEP, Auto CAD, and Navisworks.- Strong understanding of LOD levels, BIM execution plans, and stakeholder requirements.- Familiarity with building services systems — HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection.- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or BS/EN).- Knowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation tools is an advantage.- Exposure to clash detection, model coordination meetings, and documentation workflows.
