Position: Business Data Analyst
Location: India (Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Nagpur) – Hybrid
Skills: Business Analysis, Data Analysis, SQL, Data Modeling, Orchestration, Requirement Gathering & BI
Type of Employment: Full Time
Ideally, the perfect candidate will have data analysis, business analysis experience and the ability to build orchestration SQL scripts , which, as luck would have it, is typically found in those who have worked as ETL/BI developers . Fancy that
Purpose of the Position:
Senior Data Analysts will be responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analysing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties pipelines, improving consistency, and building the necessary infrastructure to support their analytics platform.
Key Result Areas and Activities:
Data Analysis and Orchestration
Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Gathering
Stakeholder Management
Data Modelling and ETL Processes
Agile Development Methodology
Work and Technical Experience (Essential Skills):
Expert level proficiency on SQL with sound knowledge of Data Warehousing
Well versed/expert with Data Analysis using SQL and ETL, Source to target mapping
Business analysis and stakeholder management
Experience in working with business process & data engineering teams to understand & build –Business logic, Data mapping as per the business logic, Building SQL orchestration scripts on top of logical data mapping
Working experience with Bus matrix and conformed dimensions
Ability to review systems and map business processes
Supports data investigations – RCA/bug analysis etc
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as core Data Analyst and Business Analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
