Description Skill : AWS Developer - Terraform, AWS DMS, AWS MSK/Kafka, IBM CDC 7 Years experience Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer with a strong background in Terraform, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK)/Kafka, and IBM Change Data Capture (CDC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure and services, with a focus on optimizing and automating processes. The role requires expertise in cloud technologies, especially AWS, and a deep understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code. Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. Implement best practices for IaC to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources. AWS Database Migration: Plan, execute, and manage database migrations using AWS DMS, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance during and after migration processes. Managed Streaming for Kafka: Architect, implement, and manage AWS MSK/Kafka clusters to support high-throughput, real-time data streaming applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka infrastructure and data streaming. IBM Change Data Capture: Utilize IBM CDC to capture, transform, and replicate data changes across various data sources. Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate CDC into the data pipeline for real-time data synchronization. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline AWS operations and deployments. Continuously improve and optimize existing processes for increased efficiency. Security and Compliance: Implement and adhere to security best practices for AWS environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data privacy and security. Qualifications: Proven experience as an AWS Developer with a focus on Terraform, AWS DMS, AWS MSK/Kafka, and IBM CDC. Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and AWS services. Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform. Hands-on experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Managed Streaming for Kafka (MSK). Familiarity with IBM Change Data Capture (CDC) and data synchronization processes. Scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for AWS. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. AWS Certified Developer - Associate or equivalent certification is a plus.
