Position Summary

The Sr. Analyst - Business Excellence (BE) will contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives aligned with client and company requirements. This role involves providing optimal business solutions by translating analytics into actionable insights to support informed decision-making across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data models to organize key data for diverse teams within the business and monitor data handling.
  • Analyze and cleanse information, creating business reports for teams and individuals.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and data lineage in the process lifecycle, assisting in resolving data problems.
  • Perform extensive data validation and quality assurance analysis within large datasets.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead to drive report automation using VBA, Macro, SQL, and/or Power BI.
  • Establish proactive data validation automation to detect data integrity issues.
  • Facilitate communication between business users, balancing requirements and resources to address business problems.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Create tabular and visualization reports as needed.
  • Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree with a good academic track record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in MIS and Data Analysis roles, driving metrics management and reporting in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in obtaining and utilizing data, along with comfort with statistical concepts.
  • Expert-level skills in advanced Excel, VBA, Macro, and SQL.
  • Expert-level skills in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work with multiple database systems (MS Access).
  • Familiarity with reporting applications.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with any quality certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • A keen interest in the media industry is preferred.
