Who Are We?

Postman is an API platform for building and publishing APIs. Postman simplifies each step of the API lifecycle and streamlines collaboration so you can create better, secure APIs—faster.Postman’s vision is to create a API-first world, where developers focus on developing API’s first before writing code. The API-first approach prioritizes APIs at the beginning of the software development process, instead of treating them as afterthoughts. Especially in the world order where developers are working remotely, this will help reduce the dependencies a great deal.Postman is used by more than 30 million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500.The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has offices in Bangalore, where it was founded. Postman is privately held, with funding from Battery Ventures, BOND, Coatue, CRV, Insight Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners. This will involve deeply understanding the developer using Postman and the overall API space and landscape, as well as balancing needs of the underlying architecture and technical roadmap.
