Position Title : Carbon Market Analyst

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka

Role Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and deeply enthusiastic Carbon Market Analyst with experience in Net Zero, ESG and/or Sustainability to join our team. Your responsibilities would include conducting research and staying up to date on market trends involving the Voluntary Carbon Market.

Key Tasks and Accountability:· Conduct in-depth desk research on topics related to Carbon Markets, including Article 6, CORSIA Standards, market trends, regulations, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies.· Firm understanding of Carbon Offset Methodologies from various GHG Registries (e.g., VERRA, Gold Standard, etc.).· Analyse complex data from diverse sources, including academic journals, industry reports, news articles, and government data.· Synthesise your findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.· Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the sustainability landscape and identify potential opportunities for the Company.· Collaborate with internal teams across departments, including marketing, product development, and sustainability.

Educational & Experience:· Master’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or any relevant field.· Relevant work experience is a plus.

Skills:· Strategic vision, Strong technical and analytical capabilities.· Strong reporting and writing abilities.Personal Attributes:· A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.· A self-motivator and a collaborative team player.· Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary.· Agile, action oriented and a quick learner.· Out of box thinker.
