For more information, visit, Summary:The Copywriter is responsible for supporting multiple online channels by writing promotional, nonproduct, informational, article, buying guide, how-to, alternate/meta and legal disclaimer content for Lowes.com. Through program research, brand & vendor information and understanding of complex business requirements, create high-quality digital customer-facing content that evokes a positive online customer experience while driving relevant SEO keywords and compliance to ADA standards and best practices.

Core Responsibilities:

Writes merchandising, promotional, event & informational content to customers shopping for Lowe’s products and services online.Multitasks as they will be responsible for copy writing content for more than one team and project.Responsible for copy writing Events and Promotional copy as well as disclaimers for legal manuscripts that accompany Event and Promotional copy.Responsible for copy writing Category page and SEO copy to boost search engine rankings.Responsible for copy writing educational nonproduct content including How-To, Buying Guide, Inspirational, Glossary and Calculator articles to guide customers with their online shopping and buying experiencesResponsible for developing skillset to document and communicate business impacts, outages, and moratoriums, providing business updates regarding the release status.Manage training development documentation; directly aid new hires in training process

Experience2-4 Years only (Prefers Candidates from Ecommerce / Retail)

Primary Skills (must have)Strong Copy writing skills (voice, tone, grammar, consistency, spelling, punctuation)Knowledge of US English and Associate Press Style guideEcommerce, online/omnichannel retail experienceDemonstrated delivery of business resultsDemonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large organizationExcellent time-management and organization skillsStrong execution skills and able to drive operational excellenceProficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)A positive attitude and attention to detail
