We are hiring a remote

Full Stack Engineer / Developer,

who will be a member of

the core team at SCOPT Analytics. The selected Full Stack Engineer / Developer will get to work on design, development, testing and implementation of progressive web applications for digitizing supply chains.

Responsibilities & Skills

3-4 years of experience as a full stack developer using the following tech stackFrontend

– React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, MUI, Axios, ViteBackend

– Express.js, AWS Lambda, Node.js packages such as Knex.js, node-postgres, Axios, CORS, PostgreSQL + Knex Query Builder, Nodemon, VIEWS in PostgreSQL, Yup/Zod Validation, SQL

Typical Frontend design and development tasksDesign and develop dashboard widgets.Call APIs to populate widgets.Approval workflows (show/hide) based on API response.Customize tables with action buttons.Confirmation dialogs when actions are initiated.Use of Suspense and Lazy loading.Input validation using Zod/Yup.Permission guard to prevent loading pages when users are not authorized to access / view.Good knowledge of TypeScript, Vite, MUI ecosystem and APIs are a must.Knowledge of using APIs using Insomnia REST Client is a must.Knowledge of working with local storage.Should have used GitHub and GitHub Desktop.Must push code regularly with good commit messages.Must know about CORS, OWASAP, REST, APIMust be able to deploy code on AWS S3 + CloudFront.Must have knowledge of using npm packages.NPM Audit and fixing using bug-resolution branch.Knowledge of loggers / tools like Sentry and Mixpanel is a PLUS

Typical Backend design and development tasksDesign and develop Serverless applications using JavaScript libraries.Knowledge of Express.js framework (middleware, request, response, status code) is a must.Design and develop APIs, secure with JWT, roles, permissions and OAuth.Knowledge of calling and reading APIs using Insomnia REST Client is as must.Must be able to deploy code on AWS Lambda.Good knowledge of AWS Lambda, Environment, Configuration and Layers is needed.Design and develop database tables to support CRUD functionality.Ability to use UUID to modify data.Use effective table joins and VIEWS.Permission-level data access and error codesAPI Documentation using Insomnia REST ClientEffective use of environment variablesShould have good knowledge and experience in Knex Query builder.Permission and proper Express middleware.Must be able to update database schema, data on PostgreSQL via pgAdmin.

Qualifications

B.E or B.Tech or MCA from Tier 1 colleges

Ability to work independently in a small core team and should be self-driven.

Right attitude to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Very good oral and written communication skills
