We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Consultant with a strong understanding of retail value chains in fashion and FMCG sectors . The role involves mapping retail business processes and operational touchpoints onto the SAP HANA ecosystem, enabling real-time analytics, seamless operations, and strategic transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Area Responsibilities Retail Process Mapping Map retail operationsincluding procurement, merchandising, inventory, pricing, and customer behaviorto SAP HANA data models and processes. SAP HANA Implementation Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP HANA architecture aligned with business goals in fashion and FMCG. Touchpoint Integration Identify and map SAP touchpoints across retail functions: POS, CRM, ERP, Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Customer Loyalty systems. Data Modeling & Reporting Design HANA models (Attribute/Analytic/Calculation Views) to support business KPIs, product lifecycle, consumer trends, and promotion analysis. Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize SAP HANA database performance, ensuring high-speed transactions and real-time analytics. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with retail planners, supply chain managers, category heads, and IT teams to ensure business alignment. Change Management Support adoption of HANA-driven processes through training, documentation, and end-user support. Key Skills & Competencies: Deep knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and native HANA development Proficiency in SAP Retail, SAP FMS (Fashion Management Solution) or SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Experience with FMCG retail operations : supplier management, category planning, demand forecasting Exposure to Omnichannel retail touchpoints Expertise in SLT, SDI, SDA, BW/4HANA integrations Advanced SQLScript and data modeling capabilities Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Fiori apps Familiarity with POS DM , loyalty, and customer engagement systems Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Retail Management 58 years of SAP consulting experience with 3+ years in HANA-specific projects SAP Certification in HANA, S/4HANA Retail or FMS is a plus Domain experience in fashion retail, FMCG supply chains , or ecommerce platforms Example Projects the Consultant May Work On: Project SAP HANA Role Fashion Collection Launch Dashboard Real-time sales & stock visibility using HANA views and SAC dashboards FMCG Trade Promotion Optimization Modeling customer behavior and ROI using POS & loyalty data Omnichannel Inventory Sync Real-time stock updates across warehouses and stores using SLT to SAP HANA Customer Sentiment & Sales Correlation Integration of external sentiment data with sales for SKU planning Let me know if you'd like this formatted as a recruitment flyer, onboarding doc, or JD post for LinkedIn/Indeed.
