About the Role

Directronics is looking for a motivated Embedded Developer Intern to join our engineering team. You will work on real-world embedded systems projects, contributing to research, development, and testing of innovative hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems for ongoing R&D projects.
  • Write and debug code in Embedded C and MicroPython.
  • Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for microcontroller-based applications.
  • Work with hardware such as the Arduino family of boards and STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, etc.).
  • Document designs, test results, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Embedded C and basic knowledge of MicroPython.
  • Hands-on experience with Arduino boards and STM32 platforms.
  • Familiarity with common communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, etc.).
  • Ability to read schematics and use basic electronics lab equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

Duration: 3 Months (Full-time Internship)
