About the roleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Salesforce Engineer to join our dynamic team to spearhead our Salesforce projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to drive revenue growth and streamline business processes.

As a Principal Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of solutions that optimize our revenue management processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.

What you’ll be doingLead the technical design and development efforts for the Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementationCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutionsCustomize and configure Salesforce application to meet business needs, including but not limited to configuring Billing, and Revenue Recognition modulesDevelop custom code, integrations, and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologiesDevelop integrations to connect systems, applications, and data sources, using diverse set of Integration tools, build, and manage APIs and integrationsWrite SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.Implement best practices for Salesforce development, including code reviews, testing, and documentationProvide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project timelinesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce Cloud platformStay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for process improvements and optimizations

What you’ll bring5+ years of strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development technologies5+ years of Hands-on experience with Salesforce Cloud implementation and customization, including CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition modulesIn-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically Salesforce BillingProven track record of successfully leading Salesforce projects from design to implementation, preferably in a lead developer or technical architect roleExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to meet or exceed standards of quality, security and operability required in a DevSecOps cultureImplement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment processesSalesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirableAble to work flexible hours as required by business priorities
