Job Description – Accounts Manager

Location : Mundka, New Delhi (Next to Mundka Metro Station)

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, taxation, cost control, compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with senior management to ensure financial efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statements).
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IND-AS).
  • Generate periodic financial reports for senior management.

2. Taxation & Compliance

  • Manage GST, TDS, and income tax filings to ensure compliance with India tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  • Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities for audits and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Labor Laws, and other financial regulations .
  • Knowledge of Import Export procedures & documentation.

3. Cost Management & Budgeting

  • Monitor manufacturing costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Control overhead costs and analyze production costs for optimization.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Ensure timely payment processing and vendor reconciliation.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments from customers and maintain credit control.
  • Negotiate payment terms with suppliers and customers.

5. Banking & Cash Flow Management

  • Manage cash flow and fund allocation efficiently.
  • Handle banking operations, including loan management and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper documentation for LC (Letter of Credit) and bank guarantees.

6. ERP & MIS Reporting

  • Implement and maintain ERP for accounting and finance management.
  • Generate MIS reports (profitability reports, debtor aging, creditor aging, working capital analysis).
  • Improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

7. Payroll & Attendance:

·      Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the HR department, ensuring accurate calculations of salaries, benefits, and deductions.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • CA Inter/ICWA/MBA (Finance) preferred; or B.Com/ M.Com with strong experience in manufacturing finance.
  • 5–10 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances .

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software .
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis .
  • Understanding of costing, budgeting, and variance analysis .

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
