We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Data Scientist.

As the Principal Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy, leading a team of skilled data scientists, and driving the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data science, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for solving complex problems using data-driven approaches.

Key Focus Areas :

- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the company's data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Model Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of advance analytics and machine learning models to derive actionable insights and drive business outcomes.

- Data Exploration: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within large datasets.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, to integrate data science solutions into products and services.

Continuous Learning :


- Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the team's workflow.

- Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Good background to have :

- Advanced degree (Ph.D or Master's) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- Proven experience 7- 12 years in a data science role, with a track record of leading successful projects and teams.

- Some one who is ready for hands-on experience.

- Expertise in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch.

- This candidate must have LLM experience.

- Most preferred - Strong understanding of procurement, specifically in Life Sciences,Financial Services, and Manufacturing

- Have to be hands-on.

- Mostly someone who played an IC role.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.

- Leadership and mentoring skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
